Gee drops his most anticipated debut mixtape

News - New Releases

Gee - Never Too Early After several years of hard work and intense studio sessions, Gee Baby has finally dropped his long awaited mixtape "Never Too Early" hosted by Xmyls Tha Cognoscenti. The 15 track mixtape shows Gee's versatility and how much talent he has and what he is capable of doing. From the beat  to the recording everything on da mixtape includin da intro , outro even da bonus track by ooz was all produced at Deaf Lab studio in pipeline  by producer EXP.

In a recent development Gee has these few words  to say about this incredibly crafted mixtape. "I'd say this mixtape is just a warm up for da album "Never Too Early". Mixtapes allow artists to do or say some things u can't on an album. clown about watever u want.. mixtape's should be fun listenin to.. u could have one or 2 concious tracks but thats about it.. XMYLS as far as im concerned is da best promoter when it comes to hip hop in Gambia an excellent presenter. I enjoyed workin wit him n exclude da work n everything we close friends just like me n OOZ, Smokey Killer on da mixtape we grew up together. Gainde Njie a senior in high skool n an older brother. I just don't know this peeps put music aside we family n dats how we go about things . If we c a nigga doin wrong or justice ain't done to a verse or song we tell ya straight up. it's not being rude it helps improve an artist,  but artists down here most are wack which people know for a fact. Steal lyrics twist n turn em P Square wannabes  .lol excuse me im gettin personal...lol bottom line iz i want us Gambians to be honest with our artists n in time to come will catch up wit other countries.

I've got 2 albums behind tha scenes wit Nube thats' a join album n ma solo "Freedom Of Speech" albums r different but dat doesn't mean i protrayed different me.  I still did me this mixtape's different from da albums but i still did me anyone dat hears me no matter da beat if i spit i want listeners to know it's Gee! Not he sounds like 2pac or his voice iz like dat cat in T.O.K. be original n get recognised for dat. People dat wanna spend money to buy a Jay-Z album will go out to buy a Jay-Z album not to get Rapper-X because he sounds like Jay-Z lol its simple. Lol i can be on this topic for hours cuz i see shit dat pains me out here.. artist like me ain't out on every radio lookin for sponsors or gettin on tv just for da fame. Fame's a different story. People like me iz da music im after not looks or watever its da creativity that counts. Listenin to a song n it takes ya mind real far or even thinkin this guy's actually talkin bout me just comments like dat about ma songs im good trust me....... lol
Anyways i hope ya enjoyed da mixtape n watch out for da album droppin real soon ' NEVER TOO EARLY'" There we go well said and blaitant.

Concluding on that the mixtape features artists like OOZ, Smokey Killa, Killer Ace, M Nizzle and Gainde Njie. Listening to the mixtape I started wondering what these guys have been thinking while in the satudio. The feeling was like they were running through my mind and I can definately relate to certain verses if only somebody knows what am talking about. This is a clear manifestation that there are a whole bunch of talents in The Gambia and whenever the industry hits the world stage we will never be left short of what to present. for more info keep checking for more updates or check out Gee's Myspace
