Badou Nyang aka BQ, born in 1984 in the Gambia, moved to Sokone, Senegal, where the sound of the young Senegambian (Senegal and Gambia) has been constantly evolving musical feast ever since local recordings began, There has been lots of styles and faces and Badou Nyang ever since realized that he also wanted to be a part of this. He started his singing carrier at an early age of 14 years old. His music style and power of lyrics represent a unique talent using a heavy flow and sweet melodies mixed with dance hall, reggae, bashment also hip hop, with a voice full of emotion. BQ has emerged from a high quality work combining music research and street experiences. He also gets a strong spiritual; mystical and emotional site. He loves life, work hard, and try's to do his thing and have fun always seeking out new opportunities, giving him the change to develop new skills and meet new people. BQ loves to see other places and see how reggae affected other peoples life. When Mr Nyang is on stage, boys and girls that come to his show are always part of it, he gives them so much energy to keep things moving.
He‘s currently residing in Holland, attending a Dutch pop academy, music school in Rotterdam and vigorously active in solo a carrier. During his stay in the Gambia, he joined Peace & Love rap group in the year 2000. In 2003 BQ recorded a hit song (SHOW ME DI RIGHT WAY), loved by all the youth of Banjul with Mr Chad member of the Slam-G Clan, he also worked together with some famous artist from Senegal like DADDY BIBSON, KEYTY, DREAD SKEEZO and many more. Before he moved to Holland. He joined DEGE J SQUAD in Senegal. BQ is a global Player, and has been doing outer international business with many different artist.
BQ's successes sees him nominated in many music awards and even winning some impressive awards :

2008 BQ drop out a mix tape ( DA RISING TIME ) in Senegal and Holland with the 3RD DEGREE PRODUCTION
In mid of 2008 he participate in a international album with the I VIBZ RECORDS IN Brazil and vol: 2 album is coming out in 2009.
The album titled “DI FLEX LION” will be released in the international market by mid 2009
